Large amounts of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.

A male was talked to by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently providing unlicensed impotence medications by means of the web.

The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offenses.

He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.

“You simply do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not understand the effect drugs like this may have on your health.”
