Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have been seized by Department of throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A man was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medicines via the web.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: “It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be hazardous.
“These types of items being sold, normally online, have actually gone through no quality control and there can be no assurance about their security.
“You simply do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the result drugs like this may have on your health.”
