When web users in China are seeking to talk with AI simply for enjoyable, they’re not likely to turn to popular voice assistants like Apple’s Siri or Xiaomi’s Xiao AI. Instead, “fun” AI of option in fact comes from Microsoft, and it will soon be an independent business.

The procedure will be finished in the next couple of months, the company included. Chinese news website Caixin reported that the Covid-19 pandemic and stress between the US and China sped up the spin-off procedure.
